Sab'ah & Asharah Qiraat Course

Course Structure

    •    Advanced Tajweed books
    •    Completion of Riwayah Hafs and Shu’bah
    •    Foundational rules of Sab’ah Qira’at
    •    Complete Qur’an recitation in all Seven Qira’at
    •    Study and memorization of Shatibiyyah

This course is designed for sisters who wish to:

• Specialize in the Seven Qira’at (authentic modes of Qur’an recitation).
• Master advanced Tajweed and Qira’at rules.
• Obtain a continuous chain of transmission (Sanad/Ijazah) connected to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Important Requirements:

• • Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory.
  • Students must recite lessons directly to the teacher.
  • Homework must be completed regularly.

Qari Saadullah, from Karachi, Pakistan, has extensive training and experience in the sciences of Qira’at:

• • Completed Dars-e-Nizami and Qira’at Asharah at Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi.
  • Studied Shatibiyyah, Durrah, Aqilah, Tayyibat-un-Nashr under Qari Abdul Malik (رحمه الله), mastering Qira’at Asharah Sughra & Kubra and the sciences of Rasm Uthmani.
  • Received Ijazah in Shatibiyyah and Durrah from Qari Ahmad Mian Thanvi (دامت بركاته).
  • Specialized in Fiqh (Takhassus fil Fiqh) at Jamia Tur Rasheed.
  • Has been teaching Qira’at online for several years.

Ijazah is an authorization granted by a qualified teacher confirming that the student:

• Can recite the Qur’an correctly without mistakes.
• Is eligible to teach the Qur’an with full confidence.
• Becomes part of an unbroken chain of transmission (Sanad) that connects back to:
  Prophet Muhammad ﷺ → Angel Jibreel عليه السلام → Allah ﷻ

This sacred tradition ensures the preservation of the Qur’an for future generations.

• Semester Fee: $75 (3 months).
